1. I learnt how to use the code using draw. I have never used this because I usually use blocks. It was very hard to get the scale right because every square was 1 metre by 1 metre wide. This was hard because the boxs we had to use were not 1 by 1 metre wide. I think the Sphero app should make an update where you can zoom in on the draw code so we could have drawn what we have liked. I really enjoyed this and loved getting my hands dirty. The water activity was also really fun and challenging at the same time because it was hard to keep the frog in control.

I learnt that Sphero is SO slow in water. The activate I preferred the one where you had to code the Sphero around the ballon while pushing the bath toy. The main part that was difficut was probably guessing the right amount of distance and time because the Sphero went really slow and the draw code because one square is equal to a metre. The thing that I would have done better is don't drive the Sphero in the paint next time I would roll it

I learnt that the sphero is really slow in the water which kinda makes sense because sphero have metal inside them and its because they are robots. I also learnt to be patient because it took a very long time for the sphero to be fully covered. I enjoyed alot of things but my favourite one would probably when I got wet trying to stop the balloon from jumping out of the water. What I thought was difficult was trying to make the sphero get painted and I think could overcome this by doing a different way and doing it with my hands.

Why I liked the water activity so much was because the was the shpero moved was really cool. In the painting part of the lesson you had to have patience. It was very hard to get it to go where you want to.

This lesson I learnt how to get the sphero to move forwards and I also learnt how to make speak and all that staff was for the wate. I know what your thinking why haven't you explained how you use the things I just spoke about. So for the one where you make it move you go into one of the boxes thing down the bottom and you drag it out to the coding place then you will see three circles you can put your things in the circle. Then the driving thing was really easy because there was a driving button at the top of the IPad. Then the painting was easy because I knew every thing to do on the painting. I really enjoyed this activity because normally the sphero would be boring but this was really fun. In actual fact the last to videos have been really fun. The thing I thought that could be improved is having bigger boxes and more time to do the activity.

I love the coding that we did today I enjoyed it so much. I like how we used the new drawing mechanism instead of blocks. I made it look like kind of a kite or umbrella with red paint. The coding was easy for both of the activities. I like how the sphero got like a swim suit for swimming which was pretty cool. I'm surprised that the sphero could survive the water. The painting was probably the hardest one because the box was small and the picture had to be small. I would improve by having a more steady finger to draw. I am happy with my result in this lesson

I found it difficult to move the sphero in water because for me and my partner it sometimes had a mind of its own and went where ever it wanted.
3. One thing I could improve on would be making the code because the draw code was very wierd to use because it was hard to draw with your finger because it is thicker than a pencil

I didn't like both of the activities if I'm completely honest. The art track had poitential to be a really good experience for me and my peers, and sure some of my peers liked the activity mostly because the used draw. Me and Matthew attempted to go the harder way of doing this exciting activity, we had all the correct tools but whenever the Sphero turned it would spin back around and !run into a wall! I found being Unique difficult because everyone used draw tool we attempted to use blocks and if your wondering no we didn't or it didn't look like we messed anything up but as I told you it keeps turning back around and driving into the end of the box, excuse my language if you could but the water one me and Matt both thought it was stupid and impossible.i didn't enjoy anything. I feel really sad right now because I know that I'm on the experts list and I couldn't help Matt. I don't know what I can improve on I honestly did everything correct it was just the paint one would have worked if the Sphero actually did what I was telling it to do and the water one we could find anything out. If only if we had more time than we would have got something done

I think today was hard. The problem with the water activity was it did not go to fast enough, therefore not far enough. I could not think of a way to fix this. My problem with the paint activity was my squares in draw were WAY too big. A way to fix this is to make the draw squares bigger. Today I learned that there is, apart from blocks, a draw! With this you can draw it. It makes all the code for you. I could not upload a video on Padlet because it said that I had to upgrade my account. I tried creating an account but that did nothing.

Today we were got our spheros and got a box with sheets of paper and then put our sphero in a little blob of paint and then coded so the sphero that it would go in the paint and draw different shapes and pictures. We also got a tub of water and we put the sphero in the tub and we had to code the sphero so that it would be in the shape of a square and drive it around a balloon and drive at around the balloon but with a toy at the end of the sphero. I learnt that you can actually put your sphero in the water and in paint because I thought that you could only put it on the ground because it could brake. I found making the sphero push the toy in the water hard because the toy kept on slipping away. I also found to aim the sphero whilst it was in the paint hard because you couldn't see the light. I think that I could put a little less paint in the box before putting the sphero in. I also think that i could make the sphero go a little bit slower so that the toy stays there.

I learnt that you could draw instead if using blocks, that is really helpful because before I knew that it was so hard just to do one curve in a maze. But I also learnt that it was really inaccurate when you draw.
________________________________
In this activity I enjoyed how we basically painted the sphoroes. It was also enjoyable because you had to do both blocks and drawing. The final thing I enjoyed was how the spheroes could swim.
________________________________
Some things that were really difficult was trying to draw the code where the sphero swam, it didn't work so then eveantually I found out that blocks would work. Another thing that was difficult was how when you drew the saps of your code it would hit the sides so you had to make it really small.

I learnt that in water, the sphero is much slower than on the ground, even if you make the sphero go the top speed. I also learnt that the sphero is paint proof. I enjoyed using the sphero as I normaly do because with the water it was cool to see how the water effects the sphero and seeing it act just like a speed boat. With the paint I enjoyed seeing how the sphero paints pictures and uses itself as a paint brush because normaly robot wouldn't paint and you wouldn't get to see it everybody day. I found a lot of it difficult because trying to make a sphero go around a balloon in the water takes a bit of thinking and try ing to make a sphero paint something? That's pretty hard because the paper can move around in the box and if you get someone to hold the paper, the sphero may bump into your hand because the sphero doesn't always go to the exact way you want it to so you would most likely end up with an extremely messy sphero painting. I think i could improve on the difficult parts bymabye trying a different way of to get the sphero to paint something or make the sphero go around the balloon in the water. Mabye with the paint you could hot gue the paper to the box. THE END OF MY REFLECTION.
