[소감]
오늘 처음 기사를 써 보았는데 어떤 글을 써야할지 막막했고, 내가 원하는 의미를 잘 전달하기 위해서는 어휘력을 더 늘려야 겠다고 생각이 들었다.
친구들과 여러 정보와 의견을 나누면서 많은 것을 알게되어 뿌듯한 동아리였고, 앞으로 영어를 공부할떄도 도움이 될 것 같다.

 <sub>Chun Doo-hwan died at the age of 90. After serving as the 11th and 12th presidents of the Republic of Korea, he did not apologize despite various controversies.
  Chun Doo-hwan was born in 1931 and rose to a high position after graduating from the Korea Military Academy. He staged a coup in a chaotic time to become president. However, it attempted dictatorship and slaughtered and controlled citizens who participated in the democratization movement. After that, he retired and was indicted on various crimes and arrested. After being pardoned by Kim Dae- jung, he was criticized for not showing self-reflection.
  Chun Doo-hwan was exceptionally unable to hold a state funeral and received no active condolences from many politicians. Chun Doo-hwan, who didn't apologize after reflecting on himself until the end, deserves criticism.

소감: 마지막 기사였던 만큼 더 신경써서 쓰게 되었다. 다양한 주제를 찾아보고 기사를 쓰며 친구들의 기사, 의견까지 들어볼 수 있었던 좋은 시간이였다. 이 활동으로 글 쓰는 능력과 영작 실력이 한 층 성장한 것 같아 흥미롭고 유익하였다. 앞으로도 시간이 난다면 비슷한 활동을 하며 지내고 싶다.</sub>

미얀마 쿠데타와 그 배경지식에 대한 기사 쓰기를 반쯤 끝냈다. 나머지는 개인적으로 마무리할 예정이다. 길진 않은 시간이었지만, 관심대가 각기 다른 친구들과 좋은 자료를 공유하며 소통할 수 있어서 재미있고 기억에 남는 시간이었다

소감)
오늘은 저번과 같은 주제로 크리스마스가 무슨 날인지 그리고  산타클로스의 대한 것과 핀란드에 있는 산타클로스 마을에 대해 알아보고 기사를 작성하였다. 내가 가장 좋아하는 기념일인 크리스마스에 대해 조사하면서 몰랐던 사실도 알게 되었고 조사하면서 재미있었고 흥미로웠다. 또한, 친구들의 기사를 보면서 내 기사의 보완할 점을 찾을 수 있었고 다양한 주제들 덕분에 나의 배경 지식을 넓힐 수 있어 유익한 시간이었다.

 

The WP reported that Russia could mobilize 175,000 troops to invade Ukraine early next year. U.S. information authority said Russia has moved troops to the border and is preparing for an invasion at the same time. 

This increase in troops is due to the conflict between the United States and Russia. Russia has made remarks that stimulate the U.S. nerves this year. Russia has demanded that the United States refrain from engaging Ukraine in NATO activities around Ukraine. Russia broke its promise by expanding its impact and said it would accept Ukraine's membership as a provocation to Russia. However, Ukraine's policy of joining the NATO has been strengthened, and Russia's military activities appear to have become active.

Russia's Putin said, "I don't intend to wage a war, but rather, the U.S. and NATO threaten Russia while supporting Ukraine." In addition, he also appeared to propose negotiations for specific consultations to prevent NATO.

소감: 러시아와 우크라이나/미국/나토 간의 갈등에 대하여 기사를 작성해 보았다. 기사를 찾고 써보니 서로간의 입장이 이해가 가면서도 군사적, 물리적으로 상대에게 피해를 주는 일이 없다면 좋을 것 같다는 생각을 했다. 곧 동아리 활동이 끝나는 만큼 아쉽고 더 열심히 참여해야겠다.

The lost democracy of Myanmar, will spring come?

It has been almost 10 months since the military of Myanmar took over the country. Still, severe clash between the people and the military is ongoing. Thousands of citizens died under the bloody suppression, and are dying now. The international society, represented by UN, is simply looking on without the sincere effort to stop it. What caused Myanmar to be in this tyranny now? To understand it, some background knowledge of the country's history is vital.

Myanmar is abundant of natural resources and ethnicities. But this once-affluent country has suffered a total three times of colonization. The first and third from Great Britain, the second from Japan. Undergoing six decades(1886~1948) under the Powers of imperialism, Myanmar's ethnic groups grew to resent each other. That was because the foreign rulers treated the 'Rohingya' tribe and the natives of Myanmar differently, to make a sense of distance, and to make them easier to rule. As a result, conflict between the Rohingyas and the natives prevails to this day. Nevertheless, there was a person who tried to fuse all Myanmarese ethnicities into one peaceful country. It was Aung san, a fighter for Myanmar's independence. He took lead of the 1947 Panglong agreement, which acknowledged the rights (basic rights, political rights and autonomy) of minor ethnicity groups for the first time. However, Aung san was killed in a bomb terror incident six months before the independence of his country. It was unfortunate not only for him, but also for Myanmar as a whole. So 'U Nu' became the first prime minister after independence (1948.1.4), but then military commander 'Ne Win' made a coup d‘état, overturned the U Nu administration, and started the long era of military dictatorship. There was a short era of democracy, from 2015 to February, 2021, but it ended by the military arresting the famed leader Aung san suu kyi and other NLD party members. And the late Ne Win's military 'Tatmadaw' is the same armed forces that are suppressing Myanmar citizens right now.

So, we are back to Myanmar's present. With all the tyranny, the ongoing conflict between ethnic groups, and oppression of democracy, it hardly seems like Myanmar is in a good state right now. However, there is a ray of hope. In addition to the Myanmar citizens' passionate wish for democracy, a provisional government 'NUG' was born. It was organized by the Myanmarese democratic camp and the many ethnic groups uniting for peace, just like the Panglong agreement years ago. Aung san's daughter and Myanmar's symbolic 'national mother' Aung san suu kyi is leading NUG with other leaders from diverse ethinic groups.

미얀마 사태에 대한 기사 쓰기가 거의 끝났다. 다음 (마지막) 시간에 마무리 멘트 쓰고, 좀 점검하면 꽤 괜찮은 기사 하나를 마무리할 수 있을 것 같다.

오늘 신문 기사의 뒷 부분을 작성하였고 독자들에게 재미있는 내용을 알려주고 싶어서 기사의 부재를 작성하여 "산타 클로스 유래에 알아가는 코너"라는 제목으로 영화 한 편을 소개하였다.
새로운 활동을 생각하며 짧은 기사 작성하여 흥미로웠다. 
참고로 이 영화를 직접 봤는데  재미있었으며 딱 가족 영화이고 영상미도 아름다워서  친구들에게도 추천하고 싶어서 이렇게 준비하였다.  정말 마지막 활동으로 아쉽기도 하며 끝까지 유익한 시간이 되어 도움이 되었다.

 

 <오늘 조사한, 내일 신문에 옮길 내용> 

세계적으로 유명한 스니커즈, 운동화 브렌드 나이키는 대표적인 메타버스 게임인 로블록스와 함께 나이키 월드라는 이벤트를 개최하였다. 로블록스 홈페이지에 들어가 간단한 설치만으로 채험 해볼 수 있어 들어가 보았는데 실제 나이키에서 판매하는 옷, 모자, 신발등을 게임 내 아이템으로 판매하고 있었다.

나이키는 게임 내에 나이키 상품의 디자인 등을 특허 놓았다. 나이키 뿐만 아니라 구찌, 반스등 어러 유명한 대기업들이 메타버스에 관심을 가지고 적극적으로 투자하고 있는것으로 보인다. 앞으로 더 많은 기업들의 협업으로 메타버스는 더욱 현실성있고 의미있어질 것 같다.
