While this is a hard decision I would choose this individual. He has many children that have no other family to go to. It's not just the individual you worry about in this situation its also his kids. If he got this surgery he could continue to care for his children. These children would end up in foster care. That takes a huge toll on those kids. I fear he does deserve it over anyone else.

He cares for kids by himself and works multiple jobs for them. The other candidates are in positions where they are not struggling. If I had the decision to choose, I would pick this one. Though trying to decide who gets to live between 5 seemingly amazing people is so difficult. I would save her because she has so much life to live still. She could go on to give everyone the cure in the future. In fact, any of these candidates could. I just think everyone has lived good lives. This 15 year old girl has barely gotten to experience life. There are many good candidates here but overall, I would have to pick this one.

I am choosing the 15-year-old girl because of her age and likely health. Because she is so young she likely has no medical issues outside of the condition we are working on. Her body is healthy and can handle any possible downfall of the treatment. She will be able to handle the treatment and respond well. Her health has the best likelihood of staying well. She will have a good outcome and pull through the surgery. If she makes it through she can become a nurse and save more lives. She has a great chance of making it through and helping others.

This candidate shows that he is a father, single, working two jobs to take care of his children. This candidate will lose his kids if he cannot provide the proper care for them. They will have to be in foster homes if so, which will break the dad especially if this medicine is all he needs to become better and better his family. His children would be left without a father and being put in foster home at such a young age would be really scary for them. This person has a lot more to lose then the other people. This dad is working two jobs and trying to prove himself as is. He is obviously trying very hard for his kids. It is obvious if he wasn't a good dad he wouldn't be working two jobs for his family, and he definitely does not want them in a foster home.

This man needs this medication. His family has already gone through so much while struggling with a sick, single father. If he does not receive his medication, he will become even sicker and be unable to care for his five children. His life is already difficult because he has no wife or relatives to help him. Without this medication, his children may be placed in foster care and left without their father. He clearly cares about his family because he works two jobs to support them. His hard work shows that he is fighting to give his children a better life. I chose this candidate because saving him means saving his children too.

I think he should have the cure. He has more to lose then the other people. If he doesn't get the cure, the kids will have a bad childhood. He needs it to prove for his kids so they can have a good future. If I had to choose a second, I would choose the rich guy so he could make more cures.
