I want to say that this experience was very enriching. I think I learned a lot from the teacher, my partners and also the students. There are some tools like recasting and eliciting that are incredibly useful resources that I could apply to my secondary school classes. The whole group was great because there was a lot of camaraderie among each other. As regards my group, Lu and Cande, they were absolutely great to work with, very responsible and quite creative. Yesica, your classes were really well organized and everything went really smoothly which was great. Also, I found the feedback that you provided me really useful to correct some aspects of my teaching. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I hope that next year things go as well as in this one.

Lucia's self assessment

I believe the progress was noticeable from the first lesson plan to the last. I learned a lot regarding strategies and it was very helpful not only in the practices but also in my classes.

I am very glad with the group I've chosen, we worked all toghether and helped eachother when in need. It was much easier to have them and to go through the subject with them instead of alone. Both Cande and Lauti are very responsible and try to help you when you ask.

The classes were great and I really enjoyed working with the whole group in the rehearsals. That opportunity was also very helpful because it gave us a chance to see how the class worked.

Regading the material it was very useful to have theory because I can use it in many other subjects also.

Overall I believe that we made significant progress while observing the classes which then was very helpful during the planninhg of the classes.

Candela’s assessment:

My teaching practice experience was an incredibly fulfilling journey. I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn and collaborate with such a supportive group, including my teacher Yesica and my classmates Lautaro and Lucia. Their guidance, feedback, and encouragement contributed immensely to my personal and professional growth. This collaboration made the experience not only productive but also enjoyable, as we were able to celebrate each other’s successes and learn from challenges together.

My confidence in teaching increased with each lesson, and I feel proud of the progress I made in fostering an engaging learning environment.
