We examined the efficacy of soaps in both distilled and hard water, and under experimental conditions we compared the performance of soaps and detergents. Since 2020 we have all been impacted by covid - 19 and one of the main defenses towards covid is washing your hands with soap. Washing your hands properly with soap and water can help prevent the spread of the germs like viruses and bacteria. Saponification is the process in which triglycerides are combined with a strong base to form fatty acid metal salts during the soap-making process. The distribution of unsaturated and saturated fatty acid determines the hardness, aroma, cleansing, lather, and moisturizing abilities of soaps. we first created labeled flags for each of the stirring straws by affixing a small square of tape to the straw. With the marker, label the flag with the corresponding test tube number. Then For 15 minutes of stirring the contents of each test tube in hot water we started to see clumps of soap form.
