The book (there is a series of this book) was about a group of girls who are around 12 yrs old and  have a business and they bake cakes and cupcakes for people. In the book a famous person was having her premier of her movie where they live. One of the girls called Emma works and models for a bridal salon. And one day the famous person went to the salon for a dress so Emma thought that it was for the premiere but she was having a wedding and she had the premier where they live because that is where she is having her wedding so people would work out something was going on if she randomly flew there. She used the premier so everyone's attention would be on that and they wouldn't find out about her wedding. The famous person asked Emma to bake cupcakes for her wedding but she couldn't tell anyone about it. Emma didn't want to bake cupcakes without her club but she couldn't tell them so eventually they thought of a way to include them and then they were really excited and they also got to bake cupcakes for the premier. 

My favourite part is when Emma was asked to do the cupcakes for the wedding and when the cupcake club made the cupcakes for the premier.

My favourite part of the hunger games was in the last chapter. Throughout the book peseta (one of the main charecters) can't decide if something is real or fake so they create a game real or fake where he asks and others respond. The part I like is at the end of the book when he says one of the other charecters "you love me real or not real?" The girl replies"Real" and the book ends

SUMMARY:
I have already gave a brief explanation about the book so I will continue about new knowledge I have learnt/ read from page 30-116. Bruno has had many flashbacks to how beautiful his old house was and how much fun he used to have with his friends, so he built a swing with a tire, he built with a man named "Pavel". Pavel helps out deliver and prepare the food. Bruno was swinging way to high and even fell off. He cut his knee badly, Mum or Dad were not home so Pavel fixed it up perfectly. A few months later with a scar on his knee, Bruno was so bored, so he went to explore outside where he is not ment to. After just over an hour he sees a small speck and eventually that turns into a human behind the fence with nobody else. The boy named Shmuel and Bruno start talking and they start to make friends. The one thing about Shmuel is he is in striped pyjamas...

In the part of the book that I just read I could imagine:

Frankie's room is very small so Frankie and Clair slept in Frankie's sisters room and Frankie's sister slept in Frankie's room. When Frankie's sister moved into the room she saw the giant hole and told her mum who told the Dad and Frankie got in really big trouble. When Clair came to stay at Frankie's house. Clair wasn't shy and she made a mess and broke everything. Frankie walked with her to school along with Frankie's two friends Skye and jem. Clair ran on the road when they were walking. Once they went shopping and Clair and she broke glasses and got lost. The section I read describes Perdido beach, and in particular the plaza. The plaza is where Quinn and his friends decide to go to, to meet all the other kids in the town. From the description I can visualise a beach with tree lined streets, and Spanish style houses. The plaza was an open space with a fountain in the middle with stores scattered around it. The shops were like what they would have been in any plaza around the world. Except in this one there were only children because all the adults were missing. One of the apartments above a flower shop was on fire and the kids were looking at it and were scared.

Summarise:
The BFG is about a girl who lives in a orphanage. You have to be a sleep by the mid night moon struck otherwise something will happen to you, the little girl was still awake by that time and the giant came and took her but it was a nice giant a big friendly giant. He took her to his house far far away and where he lived they didn't have proper food all they had was yuck food and the water was not water it was something else and they didn't have water. The girl asked the giant when she would be able to go back home and the giant said you're not going home you're staying with me now. The little girl didn't want that she wanted to go home. But as time passed they had a lot of fun together. At night the giant always goes out at the time when the people aren't meant to be awake (the midnight moon struck) and he catches their dreams. Close to the Giants house lived giant giants and they weren't nice they were mean they ate people and one day the giant Giants could hear the little girl talking to the giant so they went to his house and said "where is the little girl" and the little girl hid. After that they didn't end up finding her but it was close. So it came to night time and the little girl and the giant went to go catch people's dreams they caught a few on the way and then they went back home to the Giants house. At the end the little girl was happy to live at the big friendly Giants house.

My favourite part is reading about how Stanley struggles but then finds away to complete it. It teaches me a lesson of never give up because if you do give up you'll get nothing completed in life.
