You deserve nothing but the biggest congratulations on a deserved promotion to Interim FOD. You will undoubtedly smash it, and I feel as safe as anyone can in such circumstances with you steering the Faculty ship through the treacherous waters in the coming months.

That doesn't mean that we won't miss your irreplaceable knowledge, spirit and resourcefulness in Humanities though, and I hope you still drop by sometimes to visit, even if you have to mix that with some (boring) work chat!

You've been an absolutely outstanding operations manager! We've been so lucky to have you. I in particular was so lucky to have your guidance and support as HoD for a semester - I couldn't have done it with you!
