Edited was very helpful when considering a brands product offering as it allowed me to filter down to overall offering, specific categories and colour mix. I included the break down of categories in my report and reflected on why the largest categories were as big as they were.

I used both Topshop and New Look’s ‘about us’ section to determine their ethos as well as an overview of the marketing strategy. I also used the brand websites to research their views on sustainability and cross referenced this with  ‘Good On You’. This website offers insight to brands and how they compare in sustainability, ethics and use of animals, giving an overall score from bad to good. I also took into consideration any specific collections or marketing to promote sustainability.

I then researched the companies online presence by following all their social media and calculating the total followers for each and how often they post.

Over all I found this project contained a lot of information and it was sometimes hard to keep it trimmed and neat with all the information I found. It was very interesting to research and found the brand report assignment helped me in this by understanding how to research marketing strategies.
