First and foremost I love nature. I love the smell and feel of the seasons, especially when summer is ending and fall begins.
Before the pandemic my interaction with nature was on a daily bases. With the kids off to school and hubby at work that left me and my pup to enjoy our quiet morning walks. I would take pictures of my pup by a flowering bush, take a picture of a ladybug on a leaf or just take in the view of the tree's leaves changing colors. This all changed once the pandemic hit us. Most of us avoided going out and once the coast was clear everyone was out an about. No more quiet morning walks. I encountered many neighbors with new pets, many neighbors still working from home and strolling our sidewalks. Not to mention all the litter on our walks and poop that's not picked up. What has happened in our mind-set that we believe nature is our trash can. Do these individuals litter in their homes? Honestly, do they finish their candy bar or chips and throw it on the living room floor and do they let their pets poop all over the house. Nature deserve the same respect people expect in their homes. It might not seem like much but if everyone placed their trash in its proper place Nature would be cleaner. It might seem like a lot but 1 million pieces of trash on the streets end up in our oceans and that is a lot.
My interaction with Nature has changed. My pup and I use to enjoy our quiet time with Nature our one hour stroll, but now it seems we lost our connection.

To begin, I love nature especially during seasons such as spring and summer. I love taking walks with my dogs in the morning when the air is still crisp and fresh, and in the evenings after a long day of working. Some of my favorite spots to go walking would have to be a quiet park surrounded by a lot of trees or by the beach. Between the fresh air and the company of my dogs I have learned to appreciate the small beautiful details of the nature around me. I do notice a big increase in crowds of people since the pandemic started when I go on my walks now. I don't really like that too much because too many people can be distracting to the scenery around but I have learned to adjust to it.

Nature is very beautiful, leaves falling from trees and sunsets that are very pretty. I love taking walks near the beach and enjoy the fresh air, it helps me when i’m stressed. Before the pandemic i used to climb mountains and i had a lot of fun seeing everything from the top and the silence was relaxing. But now, there are more people who are going out and littering on the mountains. I don’t climb as much as i used to. Instead of getting relaxed and calm i get frustrated and leave. Now i stay at home most of the time.

I'm not much of an outdoors person myself, however I do have a great appreciation for nature. I enjoy the beauty of the seasons, however personally I prefer the winter cold instead of the summer heat, the winter seasons are very calm and relaxing as I connect those seasons to the holidays such as Christmas and thanksgiving. Summer isn't my favorite as I feel more exhausted doing common day things in heat.

I don't have that much of a love or hate relationship with nature, it really just depends on the time of day. I've only ever been able to truly feel one with nature and appreciate its beauty at night. Going out during the day, to me, seems more like a chore and is something I'd rather not do. Aside from that, I think I'm just more of an indoors person, which makes me withdrawn and apathetic to what's going on in nature. I'm aware of how my actions could affect nature and how I can reduce the many ways I harm it just by being on this planet. I only do this because I want to make sure that my future isn't a world filled with waste. Overall, I think that though I may be dependent on the natural world in order to live, I don't give it much thought other than how I might be affected by it.

My relationship with nature is somewhat strong I’d say. I love to take hikes during the early hours of the morning to watch the sunrise as much as I can because it truly makes me remember how pleasant nature is. Just watching the sunrise and feeling the warmth creep up after a cool morning is something that I’d say is irreplaceable. Little things like going to the beach and hearing the waves, walking through a sea of trees and listening to the crunch of fallen branches and leaves underneath you is just something that will never get old. I love to go out and enjoy it as much as I can. It’s easy to get lost in the technology of today as well as get caught up with work or school, but I believe that it is important to get out there and just enjoy nature when possible.

Nature and camping should be the name and last name of my childhood memories, I still remember waking up super early Saturday morning at the age of 7 to load my dad's car with my backpack full of clothes and goodies, leaving the bustling city and depending the season of the year it would be the destination, sometimes the beach sometimes the mountains, it was so exciting to sleep in our tents or even sometimes only sleeping bags, listening to the waves of the ocean, or the scent of the pine cones and the amazing night skies full of stars. Those were the good years and I'm thankful my parents gave me the opportunity to travel and taught me so many facts about nature. My grandma was a nature lover and a very acknowledge person, when she was young she planted so many trees in this place called "La Rumorosa" which is a small town in Tecate B.C. Mexico, where we went in more recent years and enjoyed the shadow of those trees. If grandma were still alive I'm sure she would of answer all my questions, she knew crazy things about the moon phases, about the wind direction and many more things, she taught few things to my mom but my mom have forgotten most of them. I would love to recreate those memories with my family, but I don't know why we are so busy to take the weekend off and go out of the city, why we have adopted this boring or overwhelming city style were we feel physically and emotionally drained by the end of the week, I understand now we need to reconnect again and teach our children about how important is to maintain a relationship with nature, to plant a seed instead of pollute.

Where do I begin. Nature is a safe place filled with fresh air, the sound of all sorts of animals and somewhere to relax. Nature is something that many people take for granted, it is such a beautiful and unbelievable site. There is so much beauty to take in at once, let's say you were to enter the red woods. Imagine all of the tall and healthy trees that never end, all of the peaceful sounds of nature and all of the lively animals that create habitats to each and every different environment. There is not one word that would describe my relationship
with nature, but I do know that it is the most heavenly site in the whole entire world.

I really enjoyed it, I went fishing, I was on a boat, made s'mores, cooked food using natural resources. I see it as a little break from my normal life which can be quite relaxing, no electricity, no stores, no cars, just the sound of nature. I'm looking forward to going next month again. I think its one of my favorite ways to spend times now besides embroidering.

I remember complaining a lot, I feel like I have never really had a relationship with nature. It took me some time to realize that I actually do have one. Ive gone to many national parks and to the zoos. I like to take photos of nature because I truly think nature is beautiful. Being in the presence of animals, especially ones that are not native to us, watching them exist and interact with each other is something everyone should experience.

Nature is beautiful! I don't get out into nature as much as I should but when I do I truly enjoy it. There is something so calming and refreshing about being near the ocean, hearing the waves crash. As a child my parents would take us camping often and I learned to appreciate and respect nature thanks to those trips. We ate over wood fires, spend quality time together and had no electronics to distract us from taking in everything nature had to offer. Going to my dad's town in Mexico once a year is always a breath of fresh air as well because it is surrounded by nature and there isn't a city nearby by for miles and miles. Nature is harder now to enjoy without distractions but I believe it's beneficial to do so, whether you've had a long day or just need to collect your thoughts. It also feels great to clean up any trash you see when you're out there.

I do remember always feeling a sense of clarity whenever I was on a hike, in the waterfalls in Mexico, or simply when I would surf and feels the movement of the ocean moving under me. This sense of clarity I feel is astronomical and it feels safe or even like home. Personally I believe this feeling stems from our generations of our ancestors living in tune with nature and when I'm out I tend to feel myself almost reconnecting and grasping onto that feeling of clarity.

Nature? Like birds and plants? Yeah they are nice. I am not close to nature, but I don't hate it or dislike it, I appreciate it though. I feel comfortable going out and experiencing the terrain, however, I simply prefer not to. I personally rather focus on more "chaotic" activities: drawing, listening to music, watch movies, or just socialize. I don't like to admire nature(like the view of a beach), not because its a waste of time no, because its still and calm, something that the modern world hasn't gifted me. If I sat down to observe the sunrise or sundown, I would be taking a pause from my life, I can't allow that. I am currently building myself a life and I must plan and execute it. Nature is an ally, but its not one I need right now.

I personally have a love hate relationship with nature. There are many things I enjoy about it such as it uniqueness and overall beauty of it. I mean without nature we all would not be here. We need nature to survive it supplies us with essentials such as food, water and shelter for that any many other things I am thankful. As humans I believe we should do everything in our power to preserve it’s uniqueness. There are many little things that we could change about our everyday life’s that would impact nature in a beneficial way. Things like Recycling, opening the window in safari on the AC, Recycling, opening the window in safari on the AC, walking instead of driving. However, with that being said I also fear nature. Nature does not care for anyone, it is not a thing or even a single organism. It’s massive and dangerous in many ways.

Spending time in nature helps me think through decisions and clear my mind more so than being inside. Exploring new places and taking in the fresh scenery are some of the best aspects of nature.

I have always had a deep connection with nature in terms of appreciating its beauty and chaos. Nature has always been my safe space when I want to think and it truly is a peaceful experience to be a part of nature. Growing up I have always been fascinated by trees and the stories behind them. I enjoy going on walks and listening to the leaves rustle in the wind as the birds fly over head. I recently visited New York and can say that my love for nature will continue to grow. Before that visit I had never seen so much green in my life. I truly feel alive and blissful when I am surrounded by nature. Unfortunately we have taken advantage of nature and we continue to negatively impact the environment. This is a collective issue that we will continue to address as we discover solutions to our climate crisis. Overall, nature is a gift in and of itself and I understand the challenges we will face but at least we are in it together!!

Even though I don't go outside that often, I adore nature's beauty and aesthetics. I enjoy going on hikes, I love the rain and the sound of the waves crashing. The sound of waves crashing gives me comfort and relaxes me. And even though I'm scared of the ocean I also love its beauty and animals.

My relationship with nature started since I was very young. My mom and dad were ahead of their time and they would love to go on hikes, would love to climb trees, camp, treasure hunt, go to the beach, take walks in nature. My father was fascinated with water, be it creeks, lakes, or beaches. My mother loved to go out to nature as well, anywhere near water was her heaven. My father used to tell us stories and would point out the majestic beauty and wonders of nature. That is what I have kept since then. My relationship with nature is part of who I am as a person, I admire it, wonder about it, humble myself by it, and being in it makes me feel myself. It is a precious gift, it gives us back more than we can ever think. As I got older I forget to reconnect that part of who I am, but I always find a way to make it back to reset. Sometimes it’s overwhelmingly beautiful, sometimes it’s my memories of the people who inspired me to love nature.

My relationship with nature is very important to me. Since I was little my family and I have always prioritized being outdoors. This included camping trips, and vacations to places like Sequoia National Park. Having a strong relationship with nature is crucial, especially now, where we tend to consume ourselves with the media and technology. The beach has been my happy place since I was little. It is like all worries do not matter when you are there.

My relationship with nature is a love / hate relationship. I wake up every morning knowing if it wasn't for nature we wouldn't be here, if it wasn't for the breeze coming from the tree's we' have no air . Without the sun we'd have no light. Nature contributes so much to the way we live . Although sometimes nature can be harsh , there's no other way around it , nature is the main source for the human race to be alive. I love seeing the sunset knowing the sun and moon are taking turns on when to see us. I love the fresh breeze after a hot sunny day. My relationship with nature matters so much to me because nature is the most interesting thing there is to learn about on this planet. Nature has seen things we have never laid eyes on.
