When my wife, out of the blue, confessed me she was in love with another man I was astonished  and unable to speak for a few seconds, then I rushed out of the house, being determined to commit suicide: she had been my first girlfriend therefore I couldn't even imagine my life without her ! Moreover, we had been living together for ten years now and I had never suspected she was cheating on me. As a consequence, after painting the town red, I made for the nearest bridge for jumping off.
