As the quarter draws to a close, I know I will be trying to figure out the best way to enter an Extra Credit assignment? I tried using the Extra Credit category at the beginning of the year and had trouble with it. I don't want to just add the extra credit to an existing assignment. The Extra Credit category wouldn't allow me to use a base value of 0. Point value must be greater. I am confused...Your help is greatly appreciated.

Dihanna says: I just worked on this today with Gina A. No need to create an extra 'category' for extra credit - just enter it as you would any other assignment with a max point and a total point - but in the assignment category instead of normal use extra credit. It seemed to work just fine for her. This way she was able to add it to the assignment type of her choice and even include the points possible for the assignment. Give it a shot. It seemed to work

Okay, I will just have to come down and see you because I am unable to figure this out. Also, I created an assignment tonight and am trying to delete it. Synergy won't let me. It says that the assignment is secured by district grade book settings. Aaagh!
