1) Our vision for Lisa's leadership included taking time to learn about the community's assets to understand exactly where the community's concerns fit in.

2) One challenge we has in planning and role-playing the proposition was that we felt that we did not have enough time. I can't imagine how time constrained actual proposition planners feel.

Group 13 (Peyton and Hao): Because Lisa is studying economics and has experience working with financial aid, it would be a great idea to bring her onto the campaign as a strategist and a connection to students who are passionate about the issue of education cost transparency through her network of students who also feel this struggle. This way, more people will be able to get involved in sparking change, coming from a genuine place. Lisa may feel that there could be potential conflicts of interest or that she shouldn’t involve her job with political movements. We negotiated that Lisa would be willing to join our movement if she could work with other members of our team to recruit new advocates and develop political strategies rather than having that role on her own.

Group 8:

We envision Lisa as the student liaison to the administration---she makes our demands clear to those in charge at the university in 1-on-1 meetings.

One challenge we had in planning this proposition was figuring out what types of roles exist in a student movement on one campus.

A treasurer position on this campaign in which she would oversee its budget and ensure that the campaign isn’t spending too much money in the fight to ensure that students pay less.
One challenge we had was assuaging issues of time concerns as it relates to her job and financial situation.

Group 12: We want to partner with Lisa to gain valuable insights from our peers. Her expertise in financial aid adds invaluable knowledge to our campaign. We seek her advice and connect with fellow students who may benefit from our work. 2. We struggled with setting benchmarks and goals.

We are offering Lisa a position as a liaison between students and the financial aid office in hopes that she will be able to connect more students with available resources and work towards our overall goal of more transparency.

One thing we struggled with was balancing Lisa's personal interest with our own goals and ideas in a way that could help us both achieve our goals.

It was super challenging trying to find a proper position that didn't just throw her into the deep end!

2) it was challenging to outline an accountability plan because we didn't know what would really hold lisa accountable while also not disenchanting her
