It turns out these labyrinths are art works by Mark Wallinger in obscure corners. This project incorporates unique maze patterns in 270 stations on the London Underground. Each labyrinth is outlined by simple geometric lines, usually black with a white background.

The labyrinths are distributed throughout the stations and designed to reflect their character. The labyrinths at each station maintain a consistent form but have subtle differences that make them unique.

As I walked through the corners of London, I really felt the city's "resilience" and adaptability. These corners seem to shape-shift with the times, always adjusting to meet different needs. What were once old industrial areas have transformed into art districts, creative spaces, and even popular spots for dining and shopping. Those abandoned warehouses and aging buildings have been cleverly redesigned and repurposed, breathing new life into them. The "stretchability" of these corners shows the city's ability to adapt—no matter how the times change, London always finds a way to make these places thrive again.

Bricklane is the best Gallery

I live very close to bricklane so I often walk to it, and even though I've been there no less than ten times, every time I find a different surprise around the corner, maybe it's a new piece of graffiti, or a vintage store that I've never found before... I think that bricklane is the most worthwhile place to get lost in, because every corner of the place is wonderful!

Created in 2021, the National Covid Memorial Wall in London is a visual representation of the UK's catastrophic loss to Covid-19. It is a unique memorial to those lost from Covid-19 in the UK, having been created by bereaved families for bereaved families. It is now maintained by a small group of volunteers, known as ‘The Friends of the Wall’.
