         <title>WEEK 1 - CLIL - my ideas and opinions</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think that learners’ advantages in adopting a CLIL approach are principally two. The first advantage is that CLIL creates conditions for naturalistic language learning, while the second one is that it prepares students for further studies and work since knowing a language and culture in L2 can increase the learners’ opportunities in life. Furthermore, I am convinced that CLIL improves the development of good practices through cooperation with teachers in other departments. <br>I think that one of the main weaknesses in adopting a CLIL approach is that language teachers don't have enough knowledge on scientific and human subjects while most of the subject teachers don't know a foreign language.</div>]]></description>

The use of Web 2.0 tools is one example, it contributes to increase a foreign language use, the student’s satisfaction, motivation, and confidence, all aspects crucial to foreign language learning. Another example is the value added by mobile learning to the development of language competences.
