Usually it happens when you need to be away. For example, you're queuing in the airport and you're thirsty and in that case you ask your mate to keep an eye on your bags.

Yes, sometimes it takes place in my area. I live in Leninsky's district and there is very quick traffic so, no wonder, accidents happen with such consequences.

when they have a big bags and need to be away, ask a fellow

traveller to keep an eye on their bags.

There are a lot of accidents like this in our country. It's not surprisinged for me. Most people don't think about another people. They only do good for themselves. It would be better for them to hit and run than to help someone.

Usually I ask to keep an eye on my bag some~~body from~~ of my friends, if I have a heavy backpack (more than 15 kg on of weight). Constantly carry it on the back - it is very problematic.

I prefer to go on foot, from where I had to go. I like walks - besides, it is useful. But when I ~~travel~~ go hitch-hiking, sometimes I ask people to bring me to any local sight. But ~~much~~ more often in such cases I choose the train going... somewhere. For me it isn't important where it goes ~~follows~~ - ~~somewhere~~ I will ~~appear~~ get somewhere in any case :)
