Task 1:

The provided line graph gives information about the average daily maximum temperature throughout a year in New Zealand (Auckland and Christchurch) and United Kingdom (London and Edinburgh).

Overall, two nations witness a reciprocal trajectory – while Auckland and Christchurch have a high temperature in the first and the last of the given timeframe, London and Christchurch are cold in these two periods. Additionally, in July, two cities in New Zealand record the coldest temperature, while London and Edinburgh are hottest in this phase.

Regarding Auckland and Christchurch, the maximum temperature in the first time of a year in two cities are around 24 degrees and 23 degrees, respectively. Auckland’s temperature declined slowly to about 20 degrees in April before hitting the bottom of 15 degrees in July and September. After a slight decrease, the temperature of Auckland increases to above 20 degrees in the next four months. Christchurch’s temperature also witnesses the same trend as Auckland, descending significantly from 23 degrees in the first month to only above 10 degrees in the middle of the year before rising back to 20 degrees in December.

In terms of London and Edinburgh, these cities both start at around 6 degrees in January, also the lowest temperature of a year. London’s and Edinburgh’s temperatures record a gradual increase in their temperature after half of the year, peaking at 22 degrees and 18 degrees, respectively. Additionally, London’s temperature declines stably to around 7 degrees in the last month, which shows the same pattern with a decrease of Edinburgh’s temperature to 7 degrees.

Task 2:

It is increasingly common that many children in today’s fast-paced world select watching more television than in the past, which alleviates the engagement of physical activies accordingly. This essay will evaluate some reasons behind this phenomenon before offering some feasible solutions to address this matter.

There are two main reasons that lead to the trend of overwatching television among adolescents. The first contributing factor is the technological development. In the past, the access of digital devices were limited since purchasing a TV in this timeframe was a big burden for a lot of families. This means that, in terms of entertainment, playing sports and hanging out with friends were some optimal options for the young. However, as more job opportunities are emerged due to the development of digital world, having a television has become indispensable. Therefore, children have more choices for entertainment through watching animations on TV, which offers them a sense of comfortability and convenience, rather than going outside to have physical exercises. Additionally, some busniesses choose children as a potential type of customer to gain revenue, using a lot of marketing strategies to attract children on their recreational products through TV. As a result, the demand of television among adolescents become more and more popular in these days.

To encourage the sense of activeness in enrolling into physical exercises, many parents should focus on being a supporter and a valuable friend of their sons. In other words, they should spend time on engaging in physical activities with their children and manage the time of watching television. This may create a sense of belonging since it not only encourages the family bond but also teach them about the value of physical well-being. Likewise, many channels should strictly manage the airtime of recreational programmes, which can be replaced by sport channels in order to promote children’s interest in physical exercises.

In conclusion, the reasons of overwatching television among children can be attributed to the upgrade of equal access to technology and businesses’s aim of gaining revenue through entertaining programms. To solve it, parents should spend more time on engaging with their adolescents and TV channels should control the broadcast of entertaining programms on television.

Task 2:

Many people are of the opinion that adolescents in modern times tend to spend substantially more time on watching TV and other technological devices compared to the past, which discourages them from attending in other activities, and understanding its rooted causes, along with identifying effective solutions to address this problem is crucial. This essay will analyze the reasons and suggest useful remedies to handle this phenomenon.

First and foremost, the habit of using electronic equipment and decreasing levels of participation in activities among children have evolved over time. Owing to the underdeveloped economic in the past, the access to television and others appliances stayed limited as purchasing a television was regarded as a luxuriousness which was often observed in the rich during that time. Moreover, children previously engaged in more sporty activities and traditional games because of the restricted entertainment resources on the internet. Recently, thanks to the advancements in technological field, large-scale device proportion has become increasingly prevalent, contributing to a reduction in the cost of smart equipment. In addition, the diversity of channels, social media, and livestreaming platforms, including Cartoon Network, YouTube, and Netflix with attractive contents and colorful images also draws more attentions among young generation than active hobbies.

Several methods can be employed to handle this problem, but its resolution often calls for intervention from their parents. First of all, parents should encourage their offspring to participate in more activities. For instance, parents could register their children in gifted classes, such as sports for their sons or dancing for their daughters. Besides encouragement, parents should also spend more time providing a companionship along with their children on their mature path to prevent them from getting addicted to technological devices. Furthermore, schools also take a responsibility by organizing activity campaigns for students to promote them turn off their TVs and enjoy the fresh air.

In conclusion, the increased accessibility and affordability of electronic equipment are regarded as the primary catalyst for overusing them among adolescents. To mitigate it, it is imperative to obtain support from parents and schools through encouragement, companionship and also outdoor campaigns.

The provided illustration depicts the average daily maximum temperatures on the degree Celsius scale during a year for two cities in New Zealand (Auckland and Christchurch), and two cities in the US (London and Edinburgh).

Overall, it is noteworthy that the temperatures in the US witness an opposite trend compared to that of New Zealand, while the former observe a peak in the middle of the year, the latter hit the lowest point during that time-frame.

Concerning London and Edinburgh, the temperatures of these two cities stand at roughly 6 degrees at the beginning of the year, which is responsible for the least predominant number among the chart. After increasing consistently for four months, both of them then record all-time highs in their temperature line, at approximately 22 degrees and 18 degrees in July correspondingly. Thereafter, each of them experience a fall to a modest rate (7 degrees) at the end of the year.

Regarding Auckland and Christchurch, the maximum temperatures are registered in these two cities in January, at 24 degrees and 23 degrees respectively. However, Auckland’s temperature then decrease and hit a low of 15 degrees in the next five months. This number remain stable in July and August before climbing to 22 degrees in December. Similar to Auckland, Christchurch also incur a drop to its bottom in terms of temperature, at 11 degrees, and recover to 21 degrees approximately.

In recent years, many individuals tend to provide personal information for daily online activities such as shopping or banking. While I acknowledge the benefit of this tendency in offering greater convenience, I contend that this is a negative development, especially harming people's privacy.

On the one hand, disclosing personal information online may offer both customers and staff a sense of convenience. To be specific, when clients buy products online through apps such as Lazada or Shopee, they may express dissatisfaction or face errors as they are not allowed to test the product beforehand, which could negatively affect customers' experience. By providing personal information to staff and vendors, online buyers are able to receive support promptly, and sellers may navigate mistakes more conveniently by verifying individuals' purchase history, thereby rectifying or tailoring a suitable product for them. Additionally, the transportation would not experience many obstacles when delivering products to clients, leading to a friendly relationship between customers and sellers. As a result, providing personal information could enhance the convenience in trading process.

On the other hand, I strongly believe that this trend is detrimental for individuals as it involves the invasion of privacy. Some businesses may sell personal information <s>for</s> third parties without clients' consent, potentially harming their privacy. Indeed, it would encourage a higher crime rate in the virtual environment. Social media platforms have been targeted by hackers who use Artificial Intelligence to mimic victims' appearances, jeopardizingly obtaining money, thereby causing financial fraud among individuals. For instance, people committing crime would entice young people to work for high-paying yet low-effort jobs, putting a lot of people into dangerous situations where they risk losing their relatives. This negative effect could harm people's lives and put a heavy burden on a lot of families lacking relatives and friends.

In conclusion, while giving personal information online could enhance the process of trading for customers when shopping online, I believe that this tendency would lead to deleterious issues related to privacy.

The development of the 4.0 era allowed people to post their personal information and activities on social networks on a daily basis. In this essay, I would explore both sides and give my opinion about this phenomenon.

On the one hand, putting personal information or daily activities can consider as a positivity

when it helps people to attract the media. Many influencers or celebrities would not be afraid to show their lives on the screen to gain fame. The Kadarshian is a shining example for this case. By revealing family activities and secrets through a reality show, they became popular globally. Moreover, to maintain the brand image is even harder. This noisy family always updates socializing and creates dramas to post on social media and different newspapers to attract and manipulate the media. Fortunately, this makes the viewers feel attractive and curious about the Kardashian.

However, the side effects of posting personal things is unignorable. Some with bad intentions could leverage the available information to hack bank accounts, credit cards,...to proper money. As a result, this pauses an issue about online information safeguarding for many users. Additionally, for famous people, revealing information or activities frequently can spoil many things like their dating destination, family parties,...Thus, this makes them feel there is no freedom and privacy to breathe.

In conclusion, posting personal information can help you gain reputation and popularity by attracting the media viewers. However, everybody should consider before showing anything on those because of some concerns about privacy space and safeguarding.
