Also they give background knowledge of not only a current situation, but they also go way back to their childhood and young teenage years. The impact of their hometown is something that is consistent within each essay and show the impact it has had in their life. For the second essay I could relate sport wise and liked how the use of word choice make his essay advanced

The authors chose their words carefully, not to seem like they knew big words but to express themselves better, to tell their story as it was and how they felt it. The words used in these essays were very descriptive, they put the reader inside while it was being told. The reader didnt just get to know their stories, they also got to see a small insight of the person behind the pen, thus captivating their attention even more and encouraging to connect with the story as well as the author.
