The climate in the tundra is something you need to know about so let me tell about it

The arctic tundra is changing dramatically due to global warming . Animals that are typically found further south like the red fox are moving in to the tundra . The red fox is now competing with the arctic fox for food and territory . This could lead to an economy change if the red fox takes the arctic foxes territory .

Written by: Kassy Vasquez

Ground is wormed by radiant energy from sun.Plants grow close to ground for heart and because of small, short roots systems.Small roots cannot penetrate permafrost. Destruction of plants by humans is dangerous because plants grow back slowly in the tundra.
One of the few trees that grow in the tundra, the Arctic willow towers over other tundra plants. It grows to one foot tall. Its shallow roots won't let it grow taller. Its branches creep over the ground like vine.

Written by : Lara Othmen

The following paragraph will talk about how humans affect the tundra .

The first way people affect the tundra is trash . When people visit tundras they leave food rappers , soda cans , bottles and plastic bottles . This affects the tundra because animals choke on it and other animals will be affected by this because they won't have anything to eat . The way humans impact the tundra is hunting . Many people come to tundras to hunt animals like arctic foxes , owls , muskox , marmots and reindeers . These were a few ways how people affect the tundra .

Written by : George Alvarado
