         <description><![CDATA[<div>This graph that shows the population of elk compared to cougars tells us that there is an overall trend of exponential growth between the two populations, even though they both decline at one point or another. This relates to the graph in the stimulation because there is also periods of growth and decline with the grass and rabbits, even though there is a bigger significance in the population of elk and cougars.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There is a significant difference in the numbers of elk and cougar in the area. We saw that there was a difference in the grass and rabbit populations, but there wasn't as big of a difference as we see here. The elk population is also growing at a much higher rate than the cougar, despite having periods of decline.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It looks like as the amount of elk go down, so do the amount of cougars, but I don't think the cougar data is super accurate because they can't measure the exact amount since they are so elusive. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Whenever the cougars population dipped down on the graph the total population of the elk would spike up/increase, and vise versa. It was the same for the simulation, when the grass went down the rabbits population would increase.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The graph of the populations of elk and cougars appears very similar to the graph of the populations of rabbits and grass in the simulation. The overall trend in the graphs are similar, although the elk and cougar populations are a lot farther apart than the rabbit and grass populations. The populations both increase and decrease periodically, and both populations are correlated. In this graph, however, the population of elk is steadily increasing, whereas the rabbit population in the simulation graph was fluctuating between approximately the same two points.</div>]]></description>

There are periods of growth and decline with both,  usually following one another (When the elk population increased the cougar population would increase soon after). Similarly to the simulation we see a more dramatic change in the prey population than in the predator's, though there is a greater population difference between the elk and the cougar.</div>]]></description>

After the cougars fall the elk population rises way up allowing more cougars. then the elk numbers fall because of the amount of cougars. Then there is less food so more cougars die of and the cycle repeats. <br><br></div>]]></description>
