I didn't grow up with a dad, so i had to learn almost everything in the city on my own. My grandpa would teach me and my brother some things but he lived in the country side so its different from over there to Houston. When he passed away i was devastated and miss him a lot to this day. I chose this because he taught me a lot and he is the reason I'm the young adult i am today. He ended up dieing before I was born which was devastating once I had a good enough (conShence) to understand why I didn't have a dad. This is significant to me because I had to grow up without a dad teaching me right from wrong so I had to teach myself. From freshman to sophomore year I wasn't enjoying Highschool at all and wasn't comfortable where I was at. I started getting depressed in school and wasn't happy at all so I decided to transfer over to Westside where I felt like I was going to be more comfortable, so this is my first year at this school because I finally got accepted.
