The first of these was the ability to connect the firm’s strategic goals with the individual performance of employees. This impacted on the second area, which was the ability to create clearly defined and achievable goals. In third place was the firm’s management’s ability to deal with failure, and in fourth place its ability to take corrective action against underperformance. Also important was how managers engaged with employees over identifying the causes of problems, then how they implemented continuous improvement programs, and set key performance indicators to track performance. Other factors were the senior management’s commitment to attracting and developing talent, retaining it and helping employees value the opportunity to work for the firm.Given the potential importance of management education to enhancing the effectiveness of real life managers, it was with concern that I read another paper published in 2012 by Jone Pearce and Laura Huang from the University of California. Writing in the Academyof Management Learning and Education, they raise some serious questions over what they claim is the decreasing value of academic research to management education.

Level 1 area create defined factors identifying indicators individual research

Level 2 achievable impacted potential strategic

Level 3 published

Level 4 commitment goals implemented retaining

Level 5 academic academy

Level 6 enhancing

Level 7 none

Level 8 none

Level 9 none

See comment below
Rather than shedding jobs in favour of technology, and at a minimum, organisations should offer training to prepare people for the time they will no longer be needed. And, respecting pathos (emotional understanding), treat departing employees with care and respect. A drop in share price is a sign shareholders lack confidence in the logos (reasoned logic) of an organisation’s strategy. But there are other, more subtle signals an organisation has over-played its digital capabilities. An example is the reputational damage to organisations that use cybervetting - seeking information about job applicants from social media and search engines. Studies of cybervetting show some employers use technology to better their business at potentially the expense of good management. Employers see cybervetting as a digital extension of background checking that increases organisational efficiency. Some even see it as the beginning of an employment relationship. But applicants disagree with this logic, perceiving the practice as unfair. Cybervetting reduces applicants’ trust and identification with the organisation because they perceive it as lacking ethos (credibility and autheniticity). Its reputation is damaged in their eyes so they are less likely to accept a job offer.

Level 1 identification

Level 2 perceive perceiving potentially seeking strategy

Level 3 technology

Level 4 job jobs

Level 5 logic

Level 6 capabilities minimum

Level 7 media

Level 8 none

Level 9 none

Level 10 none
Hi Toretto....
It is difficult to see where the academic words are, so I do not see any obvious collocations.
Here is a copy of your text with the AWL words highlighted.
If I select the picture I can easily see how the words are used. For example
job offer
job applicants
to have an identification with (something)
at a minimum, S + V
