Well, on December 10, 1948; the United Nations General Assembly presented and adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights! So, what should we do on this day, this year?

With our knowledge of many areas near our school and in Indore, where young people and children are completely unaware of their rights and the importance of upholding these in their own communities and further afield, we could educate such people on this day.

To garner greater interest; cultural events in our school can also be organized to celebrate the importance of human rights through music, dance, drama or fine arts!

Nevertheless, what may be the medium and method of celebration, as an IB school and student, I do discern that for CAS, we should bring Creativity by music, Action by writing letters of demand involving problems of human rights in our nation and Service by making our generation aware of the importance of Human Rights!

This is what I feel could be done for CAS on Tuesday, Human Rights Day! :)

We all have a joyous Christmas every year and this year, using Service as a medium Lets make Christmas happy for everyone. As we have already decided, we'll be visiting an orphanage and I'll request all the wall viewers to bring in something or the other to give to the children. Books, Toys all would do. We can share our knowledge of Christmas with the children, maybe even act as their secret Santas. It would surely be a great contribution to the society we reside in. Anybody got any more ideas. contact Prabjot maam.
