         <title>Jim Crow Laws and Segregation/Discrimination  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In schools,trains, and other public places there was segregation that split up the two races. African Americans were hired only for low paying jobs. Jobless whites during the great depression took out anger on African Americans and 1,000 were killed in mobs during this time period.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>79% of people experienced racial discrimination because of their race or ethnicity. Also the police brutality, economic inequality, affordable health care, limit of voting, and quality of K-12 schools. These are all examples of racial discrimination and this is all apart of the 79% of people experiencing racial discrimination. This can create a constant fear of being verbally or physically attacked by another person because of your race or ethnicity. Racism has a huge impact on peoples mental health.</div>]]></description>

Also a lot of the problems were fixed like lowing paying jobs. What is similar is there is still racial discrimination that is going on but a lot less today then there was back then.</div>]]></description>
