Jedes Jahr haben wird am Ende des Schuljahres ein Sommer-/Abschlussfest. Außerdem gibt es viele Auftritte des Chors, der Band und der Theatergruppe.

My high school:
The high school where I go is called Numáncia and the head teacher is Gabriel Fernández. The high school is very big and the playground too. It has many classrooms, and we do a lot of subjects, and also, if one day you leave breakfast at home, you can buy it in the canteen. I study in 1st ESO A. We start at ten past eight and finish at two thirty-five. We also have a break, which we start at quarter past eleven.

And we finish it at eleven thirty-five, in total we have a 20-minute break to have breakfast and play. Numància high school was built in 1971 by the Ministry of Education and Science because there were no school places for so many children in the city at that time.

The name of our institute, Numància (resistance), refers to the fighting nature of the city's residents for having claimed this fundamental public service.

My school is called IES Numancia. The director is called Gabriel Fernàndez. The school has 3 floors in total. I am in the 1rC class, which is on the second floor. We have subjects: maths, complementary, social, Spanish, Catalan, music, English, science, technology, projects, physical, visual and plastic education and tutoring. Classes start at 8:15, and between classes we have 5 minutes of “break”. at 11:15 we go to the yard, only 20 minutes. The school, next to the courtyard, opens a canteen where you can buy: sandwiches, cookies and drinks. One thing that is a bit unfair about my school is that only 3rd and 4th grade students when a teacher is absent early or last minute can stay home. My school also has a football tournament. Hello, my name is Maria and I am going to tell you a little bit about my day to day life at Numancia High School.
I start by getting up at half past six in the morning, I get ready at my own pace. Then at around 8 am some of us meet up at the main church to go to school together.
At least we have to be at the school at 8.15 am if you don't get delayed.
We have the typical subjects in Spain: Catalan, Spanish, English, maths, social studies...
My school is quite big, the predominant colors in my High School. Are green and orange, I know they don't match, hehe.
Our playground starts at 11:10 am and lasts 25 minutes, so it ends at 11:35 am.
In my school we have 6 hours of classes, three from 8:15 to 11:10 and then three from 11:35 to 14:35.
As you can imagine, classes finish at 2:35, but some people stay later. It can be for revision, punishment or the canteen.
