I recall the day you joined Risk and I was (still am) so impressed by your discipline and strong corporate ethic. I know you will go places. I cherish the friendship we've organically developed and hope to continue to deepen even as we leave HSBC. I had the great privilege of witnessing you bloom from solo to married to mother and I am so proud of your beautiful evolution. I recall when I took over as CRO Philippines, my first ever Country Exco role in an alien environment, you worked hard to help me transition into the role, interestingly while you too were relatively new into the risk role.

Dear Noelle,

I’ve always admired you for your wisdom, maturity, and grace even when you’re stressed. I will always remember the old Risk days and how you never failed to share your expertise from the time I was in Trust Risk to ORR, and your talents when it came to organizing activities for the department. You have taken on work without complaining and just did it without compromising your own tasks.

I’m sad you’re leaving us but I know you will make us proud in whatever endeavor you pursue in the future.

From Risk Business Management to Enterprise Risk, almost 8 years in the same team with you! Back in 2017, when we first both joined RBM, you said you were kind of nervous since it was your first time to be a people manager. But you did great! Looking back last October 2023 as a fresh grad in my first month at work, I couldn’t have asked for better mentors in you and Pebbles when we started working on the Culture Enhancement Program. Thank you for all the learnings and thank you for always being accommodating with all my questions! 😅
