While i am still feeling heavy amounts of anxiety about this project, once work begins on the animation it may be easier for me to see the big picture for this project. Due to the figure we had being unstable like it was last week, we were going to fix it and make sure it walked properly with some new techniques. The day started off a bit slow but once we started animating we made good progress. However after recieving some critisism we came up with some different ideas and after a short lunch we decided to make a new character. However this led to disaster as our new character was too tall for the camera. After many failed attempts at trying to adjust the camera the group became unsettled about how little progress we had made and after tripping over the camera consistently from lack of patience, It seemed that we would make no progress on our project. Another group offered to help us as they were very much on track. They agreed to a new character for our animation in exchange for a little help in their project. They needed "extras" in their video project and so we agreed. After helping them they made us a great new character model. This new character put us back on track and we finished the afternoon with a great start to our animation project. Progress today was good and stable because the clay man issue had been fixed. The clay man continues to be the main problem because it changes everytime it is moved. However we have done the best to work around this issue and will wrap up our 70,s genre tommorow.  As I have spent more time with clay animation I am slowly becoming more comfortable with it and being my first clay animation I've done, I have learnt alot from this project and will continue to learn as we make more progress. The clay man is currently stable but we agreed that perhaps the clay man could evolve with the video, as we do our best to keep this solid clay man as humanoid as possible. The group agreed the the clay man is not the star of this project but his is still and important asset to this production. The group agreed that the audience would understand the video more with small protagonist at the centre acting as camera guide as we explore different music, films etc from the 60,s - 2010,s. We had an issue with our ghostbusters scene because the the ghost wouldn't hold upright when attactched to the fishing string to make it appear like it was floating. Luke came up with the idea to attach a stick to the back of the ghost instead and so we continued to make progress. Once we got up to the "2000,s" the group began to realise that we would finish the animation sooner than expected so started thinking about what to do next. As we had more time Luke preferred that we add en extra scene or two to make the our video project a little longer as we were already struggling to make the video atleast 5 minutes. Charlie wasn't too keen on this idea but I agreed with Luke that another scene wouldn't hurt. As we began to wrap up the 2000,s the animation programme on our computer closed down unexpectedly. In a panic Luke quickly re-opened the animation programme. Only to discover we had lost had lost all our work since the ghostbusters scene. After a short break to process what had just happened we decided to re-do what we could. We managed to complete the 2000,s and 2010s and we didn't really have any real problems. When we came to the end of our animation project I felt like we had done plenty and didn't need anymore. Luke really wanted to do the extra scenes but I didn't want to, this minor disagreement was settled with a member of staff who understood both of our point of views. We ended up making the extra scenes for Luke but me and another group member had very little enthusiasm towards this. The group did not hesitate to begin editing, we went to the uni building and started discussing songs and sound effects. we spent a while discussing what we wanted but once we started work out video came to life and we even drew a bit of an audience towards the computer with people taking curiosity with our project.
