My suggestion would be that we need a verbal exchange either between the Crown and the Candidate, or the herald and the Candidate *in the ceremony*, acknowledging that they consent to the buffet. There was discussion about some potential educational bits about it in the ceremony but my big concern is the consensual aspects.
