Intentional -Goal- Directed Regualatory

Intentional learning helps students be creative thinkers, there is an intended goal at hand but how students get there is up to them. I used intentional learning when I let soldiers decide who was going to do which task. We were directed from our Sergent to move a certain amount of equipment. As the team leader, I allowed them to choose who moved what , as long as every piece got moved, the end goal was still reached.

Active Learning allows technology to be used as a tool and not the primary source of knowledge. For example, I struggled in my biology class last semester. Instead of cheating and using AI to help me pass, I actually read the textbook and used online resources as a resource to study. I looked at educational videos to help me memorize the content rather than the answers.

Technology is used to connect prior knowledge to the new knowledge. I used constructive learning to help me understand how to work math problems in my teaching elementary school math class. I knew I could do the math I just needed a refresh on mathematical rules that I hadn't used in a while. Videos online helped me re understand the basics, and connect those old principles to the new problems.

Authentic Learning allows students simply learn at their own pace. It allows students to naturally absorb knowledge. I am always using authentic learning. I'm a people person so I love talking to others, because you can learn something from anyone. I'm not big on technology, but I do enjoy watching educational videos and documentaries. The concept of google within itself is amazing, you can look up virtually anything, you control how much information you want to receive.
