Some characters that are missing are those who have lost their background but from their point of view. A person who's rich but not famous and how they reached their success. Too many times are characters either shut up or silenced because others feel like their voice doesn't matter. I could almost promise you that if the voices of these characters were heard, the story would totally change. In books I've read on my own and in a school setting, it is always the hero who the story is about. I feel that stories are all copy and paste now, a hero who needs to save the place they live but has some obstacles in it's path. But I would love to see a story from the villain's point of view, cause in their eyes, the world is not sunshines and rainbows, but they truly have a good and different character development. Its like there voices are not heard, authors want to word things to much, there's no need put the words out and express what the main character really needs to say.
