AP CARD SYSTEM

-it’s very inconvenient to top up our tp card at the machine.APU should create a system where we can top up anywhere on the go for example like touch n go nfc cards. Life would be easier.

Because it’s really time consuming queuing up infront of the ATM as well as the Top Up machine. We can make it online so we can just top up our card online without queuing up. Also going cashless is a pretty good idea, but in order to go cashless, we need cash to top up.

Like waze but for classes/lab rooms etc

They should include self top up choice in the app in order to make it easier for the students to do their top up whenever they want and also it will be more beneficial for students who stay off campus as they use it to top up their electricity as they will not have to wait for the next day to top up their TPcard.

• For students who prefer offline options, keep a few kiosks around campus as a backup.

Preference Input: Allow students to indicate their preferences when creating their timetables.

AI Optimization: Implement algorithms to create the most convenient timetable based on these preferences, ensuring there are no conflicts or back-to-back classes .

Implement online top up in APSpace to:

• allow student top up card online l

• reduce time consuming queuing time in campus

• improve efficiency

• reduce the work of bursary to manual top up

Make it so that students are able to topup their balance from the APspace app.

This is because there are only 2 topup machines in the whole university which ends up with long waiting queues which is unnecessary.

Having another ATM machine for students to withdraw or deposit their money should also be considered as the waiting queues are also very long most of the time

Information of clubs need to be improved and updated as they are outdated.

1. Show namelist for each tutorial group/intake group

2. automated class scheduling should be double-checked by admin to ensure no large gaps, or at least allow students and lecturers to reschedule

Teams / Moodle

1. Standardize the method to download lecture notes / tutorials from either moodle OR teams

2. Standardize teams channel name so it doesnt look messy and confusing

Because students have trouble keeping track of latest class details such as:

-new location

-new timing

-new mode of lecture

Updates by lecturers in Ms Teams might be overlooked by students, causing them to miss class unintentionally.

Because bus is always not on time and it doesn't provide real time tracking function, it is pretty difficult to track any bus with the current apspace mobile application

Because currently it cannot be top up online and cash out, by adding it student can top-up their apcard anytime anywhere, without queueing infront of the top-up machine.

Pls add tng top up feature, I don't want cash.

Uploading or just switching between classes from dashboard, loading time is really long especially for MPU subjects where you have to tick a lot of boxes for progress completion, most of the time would lag and sometimes crash the whole webpage

Currently when students need to book a venue for an event, we have to submit a Google form via student affairs page. I think it takes a lot of time and there's so many words to read. Its better if we can just have choices for available venue's based on the date we input. Confirmation is also done manually which makes it time consuming as well. And confirmation of our booking is always done just a week before the event date which is too late in my opinion. So make it in such a way where the venues available should be based on the date we set and the confirmation should be instant. Make it a first come first serve basis :)

There's live bus tracking shown on the TV in the bus waiting area at APU. I would like to view it through APSpace too so that I can plan accordingly when I am not at the bus stop.

Can not accurately show the available parking slot. (When the vehicle goes out, it does not reduce the number in time. ）

Although lately online banking services has been added into the APSpace, the lack of automated confirmation system and receipt verification system causing more time to be taken to remove the fees due in our APSpace, therefore causing additional fine.

Should be replaced with a real time chat bot.

To add a feature to the fees management where I can see the balance left if I transferred extra amount.

1. Implementation of online topup for apcard credit with multiplr payment options offered with the new system

2. Improve the bus tracking system with higher accuracy and nicer map interface to enable student have a glance on the location of the bus.

3. The system for ticket request is complex now and should be separate into different segment of the apps which will display on main page for current queue and status for the ticket submitted.

When we have a lot of free time between classes, we rely on the classroom finder to locate an available room. However, the system often fails to display all the available classrooms. This creates problems, as we may have to pack up and leave if someone else needs the room. Additionally, some lecturers might change their class schedule and occupy an empty classroom, but the system doesn’t update in real time. To prevent students from accidentally using such classrooms, the system should function in real time.

To improve user convenience and accessibility, APSpace should introduce an online top-up feature that allows users to directly recharge their AP cards through connected online payment platforms. This can be achieved by integrating with reputable banks such as Maybank, and others, enabling users to seamlessly top up their cards using their preferred online banking services.

Currently, the only way to top up the electricity up until 50 units is to use the APCard. Sometimes I don't have that much available in my APCard so I would have to go downstairs, take out cash from the ATM, top up my APCard, then top up my electricity.

By integration of combining maybank online banking system with apspace app to transfer money easily. Not used only for top up apcard but also transfer money for yearly academic course fee submission for faster verification.

help the students because attendance is imp for international students n they just moght be able to learn atleast something. can help apu make uni students realise the convenience of staying in the dorms (making u closer to the classes, less travel time), more students will eat from the cafeteria.

It can also be a small nfc device which can record the students name and tp number n then the system can sign the attendance automatically
