He worked numerous jobs on the railroad after he moved to the U.S. In 1889, he owned the Carnegie Steel Corporation, the largest steel industry in the world. He sold his business in 1901 because he wanted to focus on philanthropic work. </div>]]></description>

He sold his company to J.P. Morgan in order to follow his contribution to charity. He wanted to help with the interest of public and advancement of education. He created 2,500 libraries and universities such as Carnegie Institute for Science and Carnegie Mellon University. </div>]]></description>
