         <description><![CDATA[<div>We launched a more inclusive, responsive district leadership group including a wide variety of staff and some excellent students. We took a while to "warm up," but we found our groove and were able to do some great stuff. I'm excited to carry momentum into next year!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We need to get caught up on data. Our assessments are all over the place, we don't use data effectively, efficiently, or consistently. Learning Hub is setting up an offshoot group to manage data and assessments for the district, and I'm hopeful that this team can both learn and teach about assessment &amp; data literacy and establish norms and procedures for gathering, analyzing, and using all kinds of student data.</div>]]></description>

         <title>We had 12 multiage classes this year in elementary and will have 12 again next year. We have had successful implementation of using learning progressions and self-paced math in over half of our elementary classrooms and in the area of math and science at the middle school and high school. The Learning Walks at the Elementary were a huge success and we are looking to continue next year at elementary and move also to middle school in 2022-2023. </title>

         <title>We are looking to move to a standards based report card in grades 3 and 4. We need to continue to look at assessments and also use data to make sure we are meeting kids where they are and helping them to grow forward.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I'll sneak in another accomplishment from 21-22 as an intro to our need for 22-23 and beyond. We adopted a new math program K-5 and really inundated elementary teachers with PD and support in teaching math with a conceptual, mindset-oriented approach. It has helped! Meanwhile, reading instruction is in disarray, and writing instruction has been nearly nonexistent for a couple years. So I want to learn how we can shape an effective, science-based literacy instructional approach without imposing a program or "canned" curriculum on teachers. Balance structure/consistency with flexibility; balance Science of Reading with balanced literacy; balance MCL concepts and structures with a coherent progression and consistent approach.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We used Zoom to make our early release PD time more efficient.  In addition, we designed a system that included a feedback loop and enabled voice and choice about topics and groupings.  This allowed staff to suggest needed PD topics, to choose the topics they wished to pursue, and to group themselves flexibly across grade levels and content areas if they wished.  They feedback about this design was overwhelmingly positive.</div>]]></description>
