         <description><![CDATA[<div>He is a survivor of World War 2. He was a slave labor in Auschwitz. He was sent by train to the Little Camp at Buchenwald and then on to Dora Mittelbau in the Harz mountains, where the Nazis used slave labourers to manufacture V1 and V2 rockets underground. Eugene's job here was to load small trucks with rocks dug out from the tunnels for 12 to 14 hours at a time, without rest and on starvation rations. He became increasingly weak and after five months caught pneumonia.          <description><![CDATA[<div>She was Jewish girl. She was forced to wear a yellow star on her clothing and covered it up with a scarf on her way to school.<br>Iby was supposed to be taken as a prostitute for German soldiers, but her mother helped her escape to Hungary.<br>Then the Germans invaded Hungary and Iby was taken to Auschwitz.          <description><![CDATA[<div>She was the youngest of three children. In 1938, Trude's father sent the family to stay with his mother for relative safety. By 1939, Trude was the only one of them left and stayed with her aunt.
