One example of active learning that I have experiences, and I am sure others have also, is learning how to interact and act in a classroom setting. When you first begin school, you are learning and adjusting to the rules. Eventually, you become accustomed to the way classrooms work. Another example of active learning that I have experienced is learning how to handle certain kids at the preschool I work at. Every kid is different which means you have to handle certain situations differently based on the kid.

One example of constructive learning that I have experienced multiple times through my years in school is spending hours studying for a test only to make a grade that you are not happy with. However, you can learn from this and find new ways in which to study in order to obtain the information you need to make the grade you are happy with. An example of constructive learning in the classroom can include research assignments.

One example of cooperative learning that I have noticed in some of my classes include discussion posts which included stating your ideas or opinions and responding to others. I think this is something great to be utilized in the classroom in order to hear and respect other's opinions on topics other than your own. Another example of this is in one of my discussion post boards, we had to create our own questions from the chapter and our fellow classmates had to answer them.

An example of authentic learning can include the introduction discussion posts at the beginning of a semester. This shows that the professor wants to know the individuals they have participating in their class. Another example of this could be educating your students on different cultures in order to have a higher understanding of the world we live in today.

Many of my teachers have given me problem-solving assignments. This has helped me become prepared to teach because it gives me real-life scenarios in which I may have to use one day. Also, giving different learning techniques to fit the needs of all of your students is important and sets everyone up for success.
