         <description><![CDATA[Within reach of me is the plastic seagull I stole from my high school's production of "The Pirates of Penzance". I am by no means a singer, dancer, or actor, however, I did help with the set design and regularly bothered the actors backstage. I am somewhat embarrassed to elaborate on the many places I have brought this seagull. I brought him home with me the day before winter break, so he was passenger in my car. He sat atop my ikea desk as I studied for my last high school midterms. The seagull has witnessed me laugh with my friends and cry over loss. He again rode shotgun with me as I drove myself to graduation, and later when I lit my celebratory cigar on the property of my all girls Catholic school. Despite Fordham's incessant messages to "pack light", I knew that the seagull would have to make the trip with me to New York.]]></description>
