Her personal story along with her educational background in Special Education and the Arts has made her a proponent of Inclusive Education. Their work highlights a project-based approach to authentic assessments. This allows for deep learning as well as complex thinking. <br><br>The assignment was to create a museum installation or learning center that communicates a particular "marginalized" history.
