I did not always live in Muncie, Indiana. Before being an Indiana Hoosher I was actually born in Cleveland, Ohio. This residency did not last that long. After all, can anyone stay in Believeland for an extensive period of time. Two years of living here was a little bit too much to handle, so just like Lebron James, I bid farewell to Cleveland and said hello to Akron. I instantly noticed that Akron was still in ohio and not that different than cleveland. [insert sentence about reasoning behind moving from Akron to Muncie]

On a cold, late December morning in Cleveland, Ohio, I was born. My parents were ecstatic that they finally had their first child, an early Christmas present! We moved a lot during my childhood because of my dad's job, so when I was two years old, my parents moved us to Akron, Ohio. I don't remember much about the house I lived in or the surrounding town because of how young I was, but that's fine because eventually, we moved to Muncie, Indiana. I've lived here for 15 years now and I love it! I can't imagine what living in Cleveland or Akron must be like.

The state of Ohio was my birth place and the city of Cleveland was my home. However, due to some family circumstances we then migrated to Akron. Only two years after my birth we changed homes. Then later on we crossed state borders onto unfamiliar territory in Muncie Indiana.

We lived in a two story apartment complex with my two brother, both older than me. When I was 2, My mother got a business opportunity and moved us to Akron, another city in Ohio.

"When I first experienced life, I experienced it in Cleveland. That is where I spent most of childhood days. We would drive to Lake Erie and I remember how the cold lake water would feel on the tips of my toes and how the trees felt a million miles tall. Sometimes I would try to climb them, but then my mom would yell at me to stop as I was nearly halfway up. As I came home from a play date one rainy afternoon, I stepped onto my front porch step and my mother told me to sit down. I sat down on our porch swing, it squeaked as I nervously rocked back and forth on it. My mother told me we would be leaving Cleveland and moving to Akron. My heart sank. Of course, I was only two but I knew that this would be the beginning of a new journey."

When I first came into the world, I lived in the great city of Cleveland, it was so modern and industrial with so many tall building and people every way you looked. After a couple years,at the young age of two, my family moved to Akron, it was similar to Cleveland with all of the grand skyscrapers, but it was a smaller town so the streets were not as crowded, but it helped because it was a smaller town where more people knew each other and created a great community. Soon after, we moved to Muncie, Indiana, it was a rather small town with old style buildings. It was a small town with a tight knit community so everybody practically knew everybody. It gave me a great sense of family and let me grow close to so many people.

Has anyone ever told me about the benefit of living close to a lake, I would be in total disagreement of him. Being only two years old in age, I had never had the chance to completely enjoyed water as I do now as an adult. Vividly I recalled some part of my childhood, as most of the times my family was moving around, on cars driving across the luxurious forest, on trains tracking through the open grasslands, on feet walking through the damp swamp while frogs are yelling all around. Going from the industrialised capital of the North to the rainy familiar town of the South, at least I got to enjoy a good variety of barbecue, smoked and fried.

The desk is placed smack in front of the window – not that it could have been placed anywhere else; this window looks out on the daylight landscape of Bergman’s movies. Leaves kept falling from the trees, each silent descent bringing a little closer the long, dark, Swedish winter.”

I can hardly hear the music playing from my headphones, the loud clanging of metal against metal and people talking over the train whistle breaking through. I glance up and see that the sun had risen fully and that the grey storm clouds had passed over. I'm glad. I wanted to walk through the city today and left my umbrella at home. The golden light shines onto platform five, a man standing in front of me reading a newspaper casts a small shadow onto my bag next to me.

It appears to be a slow day today or maybe it's just that people prefer to drive or bike to their destinations. People are so impatient these days. Just like this woman who keeps prancing around the board walk. I understand she had places to be, but why can't she just take a breather. I mean that the whole a riding the train isn't it? To take in the sights and countryside while you are at ease in the speeding locomotive. She could learn a thing or two from the gentleman peacefully and patiently reading his newspaper while he waits along with us.

No particular reason but I thought it would be best to get to work early, so I can leave earlier. I drive to the bus station with no traffic, something that never happens at around 7:30, but it was about 5:00 am by this point. I buy my ticket and I go outside to sit down on a freezing cold bench while I wait for the extremely fast train. I'm checking Twitter for what stupid words Kanye tweeted the night before. I see a man reading the newspaper. I look up and the morning sunrise is framing the train I am about to board. The light is entering my body and I feel warm. I've never felt more excited to go to work.

The morning fog condenses into mist, while the sunlight gingerly shines through the tiny floating water molecules and delivers warmth to everyone who stood out of the shade. The whole station is almost silent, on occasions a few arguments here and there is audible from a distance. An old gentleman is reading a piece of old newspaper that is almost as big as his torso. While an woman who hauls a giant bag over his head walking past in a rush, the size of the bag is so disproportional to her body that for a second I worried that it will crush her.

I use this station for my long commute to Chicago each day, where I spend upwards of 10 hours working for an up and coming accounting firm. As I walk in the station, everyone successfully tunes out the world listening to music, or reading a magazine. The sun shines through the station with beautiful effect which nobody seems to notice. My train arrives just before me and three other passengers enter ahead of a long, but beautiful day.

One man standing reading his news paper rather than a whole flock reading a newspaper, and one man who looked like he packed a little too much and now has to wait for his train. It was peaceful.
