         <description><![CDATA[<div>The most famous square in the city is <strong> Palace Square</strong> . There is  <strong>Winter Palace</strong> built by <em>Rastrelli</em>. Till the revolution it was the residence of the Russian tsars.You can see masterpieces of outstanding artists:<em> Leonardo da Vinci</em>, <em>Raphael, Rembrandt, Velazquez </em>and other unique works of art.<br><strong>The Russian Museum</strong> is located in  <strong>Mikhailovsky Palace</strong>, designed by Rossi. There are marvellous paintings by famous Russian artists such as<em>Tropinin, Repin, Bryullov, Fedotov, Surikov, Serov.</em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>The Museum of Soviet arcade games</em></strong><em> </em>includes the only and unique collection of slot machines produced in the USSR since the mid 1970-ies. Now there are about 40 working slot machines of the Soviet period there. It is situated in the centre of St.Petersburg. Exchanging the world for the 15-kopek coins, you can play "Gorodki", "Rally", "Sniper-2", "Basketball", "Football" and other games of Soviet people.<br><strong><em>The giant's house</em></strong><em>  </em>is a unique attraction, where everyone can feels tiny. Visitors find themselves in a world where all the furniture and household items are much bigger, so  they can do many funny and interesting photos.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li> In St. Petersburg there are a lot of different bridges,  but the most striking example is<em> </em><strong><em>Big Obukhovsky bridge. </em></strong>It is the longest fixed bridge. Its length is 2824 meters. <strong><em>Big Obukhovsky </em></strong>is over the Niva. Also in St. Petersburg there are some other bridges such as: <strong>Trinity bridge, Foundry bridge, Alexander Nivsky Bridge, Finland Bridge, Volodarsky bridge </strong>etc. The first bridge was built in the spring of 1727. This bridge was named after the Church of St. Isaac Dalmatsky.</li></ol>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are  more than 100 theatres in Saint-Petersburg.<br>In 1756 the first theatre was created , in 1785 the Hermitage Theatre was opened . This theatre is one of the most popular theatres in Russia. The Hermitage is a very beautiful place and it has great history. It was built where Winter Palace used to be.<br>Also you can visit Alexandrinski Theatre. It is the oldest theatre in Petersburg.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There are many museums in Saint Petersburg, but the most famous is the Hermitage. The Hermitage is one of the largest and most significant museums in Russia and in the world. It was founded in 1764 as Catherine II‘s private collection of valuable paintings. The modern Hermitage is a museum complex. The main part of the Museum occupies five buildings. They are situated in the center of Saint Petersburg along the Neva embankment. The Winter Palace is the main building. The collection of museum has got about three million works of art and monuments of world culture from the Stone Age to the present century. Among them there are works of Rubens, Rembrandt, Titian, Leonardo da Vinci and others.<br><br></div>]]></description>
