The book "Games" is told form the point of two rivals named Mick Sullivan and Boot Quinn. One chapter is told from the point of view of Mick and then the next chapter is told from the point of view of Boot. I can relate mostly to Mick Sullivan because of him being easy to relate to. Mick Sullivan is basically your normal teenager. He hangs out with is friends and goes to school. Boot likes to play his guitar and Mick likes to read books. Mick mostly likes to read fiction or thrillers.

The main conflict in the book is the rivalry between Boot Quinn and Mick Sullivan. The secondary conflict is the fact that both Mick and Boot like the same girl, Tabitha Slater, and are fighting over her attention. Through the story the fighting between Mick and Boot stop fighting and they start daring each other to do extremely dangerous stuff like pouring red paint over the library. At the end of the story Mick and Boot stop daring each other and end up becoming friends.

Theme

I think the theme of the book "Games" is that even if you are enemies you can be friends in the end. I think that is the theme because at the beginning of the book Mick and Boot are not friends. As the book progressed they found out they had a lot in common ad ended up being friends in the end.
