How to Create a Morning Routine (and Stick to It Long-Term)

I think that creating a morning routine is super important when doing online learning. Online learning is basically doing school at home so its important to create a schedule for yourself while your home, waking up on time and having enough time to do everything that is needed to do great at school work. I think its important that the video said to make sure to leave your phone out of your morning routine because its distracting. I also like how he added that the evening routine is just as important as the morning routine. Morning routines are waking up at a certain time (early preferably), making breakfast, taking a shower/getting dressed, tidy up, and maybe just have time for yourself. It's also important to stick to your morning routine over a long period of time.

How I take notes from books

When online learning we get a lot of textbooks online or physical books and it's important to take notes because teachers aren't gonna tell you what to write. I think the video because it tells how to take notes on a textbook. It's important to actually read the textbook and maybe move around while reading. It's also important to annotate your book. I liked how he showed the symbols he uses while annotating and how he writes in his books. Using those annotations you go ahead and put them in the form of a note. In the end, you read over your thoughts and connect those to your own understanding and add your opinion to the notes which leads to a better understanding long term.

The Most Powerful Way to Remember What You Study

When doing work at home you might feel that you have to just finish the work instead of actually learning what's on the work. That's why it's important to actually remember what you study. Spaced repetition is a way you can do this. You can put flashcards in "boxes" where you study one box every day and the other every other day and so on. When you get one wrong the card goes back to studying every day. This helps because you spend more time on the cards that you need more learning on and less on the ones you don't. There are also apps that can help with this and that helps a lot with online learning since most are online rather than pencil and paper.

How to Create a Great Study Space (With Examples)

I think this is so important article because it gives you examples of where to study so you can learn effectively and actually get work done since you aren't in a physical class. It's great because it also gives you examples of how to create a study space in your home which is also just as important. I chose this because it's important to have a place to learn like it's important to have a classroom.

4 Steps to Reading a Textbook Quickly and Effectively

When doing online classes most of your textbooks might be digital that's why it's important to know how to read them and understand the material. It gives you examples of how to read the textbook and what to look for in the text to get the most material out of it. I choose this article because when you don't have a teacher explaining the material to you, it's your responsibility to learn the material yourself.
