VOLUME VS AREA!!!

Dear fifth grader in Mrs. Gonzalez class. I want to explain to you the difference between volume and area. One difference is that you find volume with 3-d shapes an you find area with 2-d shapes. In addition with area you multiply two numbers but you do three with volume. Plus they use different equations. With volume its length times width times height. With area its length times width. Dear fifth grade in Mrs. Gonzalez Class,the difference between Volume and is that area uses the equation length times width or base times height .On the other hand, volume uses the equation length times height times width. In addition, Volume measures the inside of a rectangular prism, While Area measures what it covers up of a flat shape. Lastly,the difference between volume and area is that volume measures a 3D shape and area measures a 2D shape.~Yocayra~ :)

Dear fifth grader in Mrs. Gonzalez class.I want to explain the difference between Volume and Area. Volume is how much an object can carry and has a 3-D. Also, Volume has to be multiplied by Length Wight and Height and like I had said something that fills in the object. However, Area has a 2-D shape It has to be multiplied either by Length and Wight or by Base and Height and it covers the shape . This is for the fifth grader in Mrs. Gonzalez class.
