Ever since that baby got here this house has been chaos. Mom said she would be just like me. Well she was wrong. 

Mom came home with the baby two days ago. At the hospital, she was a good baby. Grandma would bring me to the  hospital everyday after we ate lunch.  Dad would meet us in the lobby and walk us down the hall to see Mom and the baby. Mom always looked so tired and the baby was always sleeping. I didn't get to play with her while she was there.

Friday, Dad carried her into our small two bedroom house. They made her wear a ugly pink outfit home. When I finally got to hold her, she smelled like Sammy's dog Peppy. 

At 10:00pm last night, I woke up to a scary noise. Sara was screaming! I crawled out of bed to peek at what was going on. Dad was walking forward, backward, forward and backward. Mom was rubbing her head. What is wrong with Sara?

I didn't sleep for the rest of the night. This morning she was still crying. I don't know if she'll ever stop. How long can we live like this?

Last night grandma came over to see Sara. She gave Dad a hug as soon as she walked in. I thought she was coming to kiss me next like she always does, but she didn't. She hopped onto the couch to take Sara from Mom. She held that baby all night. 

Everybody has been doing that. Nobody sees me anymore. I went outside for a walk by myself yesterday and nobody even knew I was gone. I told Dad I was going to run away if he didn't come play catch with me outside and he patted me on the head and walked away. 

Tonight I'm sleeping at Sammy's house.  My mom told me she was having a baby a while ago. She said it would be fun to have a little sister. She said the baby would be all my responsibility. I am excited !
 
 I helped mom buy toys and cute little dresses for her first day at home. Mom says she will need  a lot more items for the store. Who bought all these items for my first day at home?
