In Indonesia's heart, where hopes do gleam.
A tale of trials in the sun's warm kiss.
Democracy, a dream like flowing stream.
Yet shadows cast, a cloud of equal bliss.

Like branches of a tree, we seek to blend.
Integration's dance, a waltz of the heart.
But sometimes fear tears unity's sweet trend.
And tears apart what love had set to start.
