Policy can encourage and require follow-up research and evaluation to assess the sustainability of those specific interventions.  Meanwhile, policy is also a facilitator of the implementation of a project.  Moreover, the evidence generated from research can also influence the establishment and revision of the policy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Staff engagement is a motivator of sustainability.  Staff attitude can be identified as an influencing factor.  Negative attitude has a great influence on staff involvement and willingness to take accountability and responsibility and led to staff avoiding participation in quality improvement initiative (Van Heerden, Maree, &amp; Janse van Rensburg, 2016). </div>]]></description>
