I have worked to get my communication skills to a great place, and this class has given me a chance to grow further in that department. In class we had to communicate our view on different books and different topics that are talked about in classes. Not only that, but I also had to communicate through the people in my group for book club, as well as with my partner for my presentation.

• The class was more partner and group discussion based, which I think is a better way of teaching a lecture instead of going on and on and monologging about the subject.

I demonstrated it during the Team Teach with Courtney Wise. We were moved to a much smaller room. One of our activities required this space but we improvised and swapped it to be talking in groups and sharing out loud. The projector overheated and shut off mid-presentation. The presentation was shared with the class and we continued talking while the students were able to follow along and have access to the Menti and our examples.

2) The use of Cultural X-Ray's to help enforce outside factors and internal factors of key historical people.

I feel that I truly did well with the course's opportunities to collaborate with others. I did my best to give 100% on my part and to assist others when needed. I enjoyed hearing and working with everyone else's thoughts and ideas as much as my own. I also feel like I worked well with goals made in groups.

I was able to work in many different groups and collaborate on projects. Whether it was leading or listening and filling a different role, I was able to consistently be there prepared for my team with good information and reliable data.

During the small groups, I do a good job of listening to what other people say and then what I can contribute to the group. I am respectful to my group members and let others speak.
