What Native Americans Might think of colonists coming to their land

Some Native Americans where fine with colonists in there land. Some invited them to have dinner and taught them how to do certain things. Although when Native Americans do this, some colonists would treat them badly instead of kindly. Some Native Americans would not appreciate it when they see other people coming to their land and just acting like it is not the Native Americans land, its theirs because the "discovered" it. It seems very unfair and the Native Americans probably wanted them to go away.

Millions of well bodied people captured the death and the economic destruction from wars and the enslaved people were surprisingly high. In the famines that followed military acts, the old and young were normally killed or starved.

Link to website:
http://www.inmotionaame.org/migrations/topic.cfm?migration=1&topic=9&tab=image

Opinion: Black Lives Should be Treated How All Lives are Treated. By Uma Rahman

Did you know that Black Lives are dying from people who are killing for no good reason. Seems dark right, well sadly these things happen in america and it is not fair at all. Black lives should be treated as how all lives are treated because I don’t think it is fair that lives are being treated differently just because of the color of their skin, mainly black lives. Black people can't help that they are black and there is nothing wrong with having black skin. I feel like it is wrong for someone to do harm for something that they can’t control and they should not be ashamed about it. Black people have been treated in hurtful ways since the 7th century. Slavery started in the 7th centery to the 1750’s. Slavery is illegal now but some white people still find a way to do microaggression. Microaggression means a person or people saying something racist about someone that doesn’t seem like they are being racist or mean but if you think about what they are really saying it is racist and mean. For an example: “You are the “whitest” black person I know.”

There are very popular black activists like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. Martin Luther King Jr. started being an activist and started protesting in 1950. Rosa Parks started in 1955. Although Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King did some protests together. No black person was treated fairly in that era in time. It is not as bad now but it still happens. There are so many other black activists that we don’t know about but all did the same thing, call for the same rights as everybody. There have been so many Black Lives Matter protests in the present and past. There also have been a lot of shootings too. For an example: Goerge Floyed, Tamir Rice, Trayvon Martin, Briana Talor, and so much more. Black people minding their business outside and inside and some white police men think they are going to do harm and kill them. A lot of people do not want to talk about these sorts of things because it makes them uncomfortable, but it is very important to talk about these things because anyone can make a change. If you don’t really know what is happening or not really sure, watch the news, talk to people. For a long time black people have not been treated equally. Anyone and anybody can make a change and be an activist. It is very important to at least have the knowledge about this american history and it is up to us to try and make things different.
