I am Nur Amira Syafiqa Binti Mohamad Raus.

I grew up in small town area Batang Kali, Hulu Selangor which currently faced rapid growth in a family of three siblings. I am the only one daughter and breath about to life 23 years old. My hometown quite green zone and natural which near to the jungle with the river and lake. I loved it.

After I am finish my degree on Islamic banking from UiTM in this year at Puncak Alam, I further my study in Master educational of Management and Leadership at UiTM Shah Alam. I moved toward educational study with the intend to fulfill my dreams becoming lecturers, perhaps. I do loved study in Islamic banking which taught Islamic in making transaction of business. I just loved to learn more courses to enhance my knowledge. I will be graduate on my degree study next year to hold the certificate in Bachelor of Islamic Banking.

I enjoy music, traveling, hiking, and any humor entertainment. I also loved build relationship with others as what we do in this world is a must connect with other human being as you died, the human being also carry you to the funeral ceremony.

This picture was taken during my Diploma convocation where I am alone. My family got family matters but I am a big girl and it does not matter. Where is my Degree’s picture? I need to wait next year to be grad. It is okay as I will grad THREE times including my Master. In shaa Allah. I really hope that my certificates will help me in my future or else I must keep in mind that we should seek knowledge not only for working but to enhance knowledge.

First of all, I am always thinks that I am able to be friend with everyone. However, when I came to the class, I felt that I cannot make it. They have different ages with different perceptions towards each other! I take about 1 month to make a friend with them and yes, I did it! We all ate together after got a class at I-learn and have some talk about our future planning and not all of them want to be an educator. Hahaha.

When lecturer said we do not have final examination, I felt so relieves. However, we got a test! TEST 1 Research Methodology on 2 November 2015. It is all about the chapter 1. The questions focus on the chapter 1; problem statement, the variables, and the type of research.  I forgot to study on literature review as I thought it was in chapter 2!! The paper on page 2 was about literature review. I really hope that I pass this test. Here I am attached with the chapter 1 of my research.

I bet everyone waiting this mid semester break! It is time to leave your stress and back to hometown. Oh it is not really leave your stress but you need to stress yourself to complete the task given by lecturer with home environment. There are a lot of event when back to home and you will be lazy to complete your assignment and it is a real not the myth that students cannot complete their assignments when they got a break! Haha

‘Eat and sleep’ just equal to student life. On 7 November 2015, I joined hiking at Bukit Kutu which is near to Empangan Sungai Selangor with my friends. It such a good activities as to boost your energy not just stay at home. The green of the earth make you realized that the power of God to produce something beneficial to us. We breaths, we move, we are in healthy condition. Thus we need to use all of that to produce something to other too. It takes about 4 hour to reach the peak of Bukit Kutu. The teamwork is important as there are many slippery roads to be there. It is not about physical, it is about mental. Your mental should be tough as you just bear in mind to be up there. My friend almost gives up in half way but the teamwork push her and no one should leave behind. As I hope in my research method, my friend will help me as I am so weak with this subject.

Deepavali was on 10 November 2015. I and my mom open up booth to sell the cloth. My mother is businesswoman. She sells the daily clothes, pants, skirts, shirts, accessories, dress and jubah. I just help her and I am happy doing that so that I have side income to struggle with my master life.

Before that, let us take some fresh air to boost our energy before back to Shah Alam. On 15 November 2015, we went for hiking at Lata Medang Hulu Selangor. It was quite near to my hometown. This was my first time reached here. The air, water, the green, and everything give the fresh feeling. The Giver produced something to us for a reason. It is depend on us how to appreciated it as the knowledge should be seek to explore the nature widely. Thank God. Look at that face ! I am quite happy go lucky person. :D

This is our last class for Communication. When it come to taught about research, each lecturer give about slight difference ways about doing the thesis but still in the line with what you taught us Prof Aziah. I have noted about what she taught me. The introduction, background, problem and methodology is the same way you taught me, but literature review, she want us to find the Guru of the theory. It is not like reading the article from local or international and take some definition from there but we need to find the roots of theory. Who produced the theory. Like PDCA, Demings is the person of that theory. It is not simply just reading the article but we need to explore.

Lets recap what we are having on the TEST 2 questions. (work in pair)

For part 1- The questions was about research design. About 15 questions and I get 9 out of 15 the right answer. So bad I felt.

Part 2- The questions was about qualitative and we need to find the theme regarding the questions that Prof have asked us to answer. Majority of us do quantitative method and I found that qualitative take about an hour for two page of interpretation ! waaaaaaaaaaaa Qualitative seems to be hard method !
