- At the bottom comes your quotation, in the largest font you use anywhere on your slide

- Add some images around the quotation, by searching Google images, so that we get a visual reminder of the quotation. This will help you remember these key quotations next year. 

- Also add some brief annotations using arrows and text boxes/shapes. Keep these very limited, with no need for full sentences. Single words are fine. 

- Above that, where I have the green box in my example, you need to write a full sentence (or two) exploring how the quotation makes the reader feel about the character/setting/theme. Find an image to represent the reader. You can use the same one I used, or find a different one. What is crucial is that this section focuses on how the reader responds to the quotation.

- Finally, at the top of your slide, you need to address WHY Dickens wrote it like this. What ideas was he trying to get across? Try to link specific ideas from the quotation to his own big ideas about society i.e. what changes he wanted to see in England at the time he was writing.
