(iBook). Basically this is birth control methods. The most affective form of contraceptives is abstinence, but there are many more methods. Both only do contraceptive prevent pregnancy, but also STDS. The only contraceptive to prevent an STD is a condom. "Only condoms have been proven to reduce the risk of getting some STDs." (iBook). They went to a free women's clinic to get checked out.
