She was kind, but strict when she had to be. She was never mean, and helped us understand every topic very well. My parents loved her, and every weekend I would go visit her house and bring her a gift. She teached at Arminta Elementary School, and last year when I went to go see her again, she was in a rolling walker. What I would say to her right now is.. "Ms Thoren, thank you for teaching me well in kindergarten and helping me understand math and many other subjects. I hope you feel good and your year goes well, I love you." Then I would hug her.
